To that end, WhatsApp has released a new desktop app for Windows, which boasts a faster loading time and a user interface that is familiar to both WhatsApp and Windows users. The new app also allows for group video calls with up to 8 people and audio calls with up to 32 people, with plans to increase these limits in the future.
One of WhatsApp’s key features is its fully end-to-end encrypted experience, which allows for seamless communication across all devices, including mobile phones, computers, and tablets. Additionally, the company has made improvements to its multi-device capabilities, including faster device linking and better syncing across devices, as well as new features like link previews and stickers.

As per the company’s statement, it has plans to gradually enhance the maximum number of individuals permitted in a group call.
